
One of my favorite things to do for fun is dance. I love it. I've taken 9 years of dance classes - classical ballet and contemporary - and spend ample time choreographing various styles of dance, like contemporary, hip hop, and modern. I even try to dance salsa, when I can.
I think it's been a place of stress release for me, especially the classes. The teacher works her students, keeps them on their toes (no pun intended), and the workout burns out all my stress. This year I cam back to my former ballet teacher, after a three-year break. It's been lovely. I have enjoyed it so much. We are working on preparing a show for the spring, called "La Corsaire". It is based on the poem by Lord Byron. The classes have been challenging for me, and it's been exciting to see how much my muscles remember from their early days of dance.
