I discovered a new flavour of ice cream recently. At the school cafeteria where I work, Dimi, our beloved chef, has a huge ice cream freezer. These days it always needs to be replenished, since we feel that we ourselves have turned into ice cream cones and melt away the hours. Anyway, one of the choice flavours is an ice lolly that supposedly tastes like kiwi. When I discovered this, my first thought was "Cool! I love kiwi!" Indeed, it is the exact strange green colour as the kiwi fruit. But it doesn't taste like kiwi at all! Actually, it's just sweet ice on a stick. But the color is really funky, so it's worth it, especially on a hot day like today.
